ShinWon Corporation, a global apparel manufacturer, has released its second annual Sustainability Report, detailing the company’s key ESG achievements and outlining long-term strategies across its global operations.
As part of its strengthened Social (S) pillar, the company has advanced worker well-being initiatives and expanded collaborative partnerships throughout its supplier network. ShinWon has institutionalised annual labour and human rights audits at all overseas production facilities, identifying and addressing priority risks while providing technical support programmes to 14 partner factories.
Under the Environmental (E) pillar, the company is accelerating its adoption of renewable energy and expanding resource-circularity initiatives. In 2024, its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Fashion Stitch Josua, received LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. ShinWon has also introduced solar power systems, upgraded water-treatment technology and implemented sustainable washing processes across subsidiaries in Vietnam, Guatemala, Indonesia and other regions.
On the Governance (G) front, key ESG agenda items — including greenhouse gas reduction, energy transition and climate-risk response — are reviewed by the company’s ESG Committee before being submitted to the Board for approval, reinforcing accountability at the highest level of corporate leadership.
Chief Executive Officer JJ Park said the latest report demonstrated ShinWon’s ongoing progress and its dedication to responsible growth. He stated that, under the company’s vision, “Won Fashion, One Impact,” ShinWon aimed to create meaningful social value, deliver lasting benefits to customers and communities worldwide, and foster a sustainable fashion ecosystem for future generations.
ShinWon currently operates 15 entities across 10 countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Guatemala and Nicaragua, and employs more than 30,000 people globally. As an international manufacturer, the company said it remained committed to empowering its workforce, enhancing employee welfare and upholding social responsibilities across all its operations.
