Arket, a Nordic design company, has teamed with Asos to offer its products on its website for the first time. In order to expand on its current relationship with H&M Group, which owns brands like &Other Stories, Monki, and Weekday that are all offered on the online behemoth, Arket’s autumn/winter 2024 collection will debut on the platform.
Asos joined the ranks of H&M’s exclusive retailers earlier this month when the company revived the Cheap Monday brand after a five-year absence.
“We’re excited to welcome Arket to our industry-leading roster of partner brands, continuing our commitment to our customers to offer the best in fashion,” stated Vanessa Spence, executive vice president of creative for the online retailer.
This action follows Asos’ recent sale of Topshop. Within three years of purchasing Topshop and Topman, the internet retailer sold 75 per cent of the fashion labels and formed a joint venture with Heartland, an investment business controlled by the Holch Povlsen family, the owners of Bestseller.
