Archroma, a leading global provider of specialty chemicals for sustainable solutions, has expanded its collaboration with Browzwear, 3D digital solutions firm for the fashion industry, to integrate the complete Color Atlas by Archroma® colour library into Browzwear’s VStitcher, Lotta, and Stylezone platforms.
This partnership will grant designers access to a collection of 5,760 colour references, including 1,440 colours for polyester, in addition to Browzwear’s existing colour library of 4,320 Color Atlas colours for cotton poplin. This extensive range of colours will facilitate collaboration throughout the supply chain, ensuring colour consistency from digital design to production for cotton, polyester, and blends.
An important aspect of the Color Atlas by Archroma® is its compliance with leading international eco-standards, enabling designers to select dyes and finishes that align with their desired sustainability criteria. Each colour is available as a physical colour standard, complete with precise dyeing recipes, compliance data, and access to expert technical support from Archroma worldwide.
Lars Villumsen, Director of Partnerships & Solutions at Browzwear, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasising its role in bridging the gap between rapid digital processes and physical product creation. Chris Hipps, from Archroma Color Management, highlighted the opportunity presented by the ongoing digital transformation of the fashion industry, stating that with tools from Browzwear and the 5,760 colours in the Color Atlas library, designers are empowered to bring their concepts to fruition without compromising their creative vision or sustainability principles.
Archroma, headquartered in Pratteln, Switzerland, operates globally with over 4,500 employees across 42 countries and more than 30 production sites. Meanwhile, Browzwear serves as a trusted partner to over 1,000 fashion and apparel companies worldwide, offering advanced 3D visualisation that enables digital craftsmanship to flow throughout the entire value chain, enhancing design, production, and sales efficiency.
