To commemorate its tenth anniversary in the UK, American burger chain Five Guys has released its second line of clothing and accessories.
The new ‘checkerboard’ collection celebrates the unmistakable red-and-white checkerboard tiles found in every Five Guys restaurant, in contrast to the first collection, ‘Arlington 1986,’ which was centred on the Americana aesthetic.
The complete line includes long and short sleeve T-shirts, sliders, sunglasses, a reversible bucket hat, checkerboard summer co-ords, and more.
The quality of the merchandise hasn’t been sacrificed, sticking with the Five Guys Burgers & Fries mentality. All items have a “premium feel,” according to the brand, and have been meticulously chosen with comfort, quality, and durability in mind.
The drop was created to ‘pay homage to the brand’s commitment to fresh produce’ and was modelled by restaurant personnel and photographed at one of the farms from where Five Guys sources its potatoes.
Paul Hamilton, Brand and Customer Director at Five Guys, said, “After the successful launch of our first merch drop, we wanted to allow Five Guys fans to continue incorporating their love for the brand into their everyday outfits.”
