With the help of Recover’s low-impact recycled cotton fibre, renowned global lifestyle brand Perry Ellis is collaborating with leading materials science experts RecoverTM to offer consumers ‘green denim’ collections.
The core values of Perry Ellis’ founding were innovation, dismantling boundaries in fashion, and creating clothing that was functional as well as stylish. Following this approach, the partnership with RecoverTM enables Perry Ellis to increase consumer access to circular fashion and establishes them as a cutting-edge company that prioritises sustainability.
Ten different low-impact men’s denim pant designs were included in the first Perry Ellis x RecoverTM capsule collection, exclusively sold on PerryEllis.com. Each item in the collection was created by Recover’s vertically integrated strategic partner ADM and comprises 20 per cent RecoverTM recycled cotton fibre from textile waste, lowering the environmental effect of the clothing.
Oscar Feldenkreis, CEO and President, Perry Ellis International commented, “This partnership underscores our dedication to collaborating on sustainability solutions. By incorporating Recover™ fibre into our product design, we can offer our consumers high-quality garments that help reduce our fashion carbon footprint.”
Alfredo Ferre, CEO, Recover™ stated, “We are delighted to collaborate with the iconic brand Perry Ellis and support them on their sustainable journey. As the ingredient brand of reference in recycled cotton, we show once again with this collection that style and sustainability are definitely a perfect match.”
