
British lifestyle retailer Joules has named Jonathan Brown as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Come 7 September and Jonathan will replace Nick Jones before taking up all the responsibilities by the end of September.
Joules is elated as Jonathan comes with a strong track record of improving performance – in addition to implementing strategic transformation programmes across several digital and retail businesses.
With rich experience of serving firms like John Lewis, Coca Cola and many others in senior roles, Jonathan has worked in positions that have focused on blending online and offline activities.
Pleased over his appointment, Jonathan said that Joules is a very strong brand, with a highly relevant purpose and product proposition.
He added “The Group’s digitalisation in recent years – besides its increased customer base– means it has very solid foundations for the future.
Ian Filby, Non-Executive Chairman,averred “The board was in unanimous agreement that, amongst some very high calibre candidates, Jonathan was the standout choice to be our new CEO.
The British apparel retailer sells clothing and homeware products inspired by British country lifestyles. Founded in 1989, it is known for selling apparels at country shows.
