
Subsequent to the Commerce Ministry seeking a complete list by 10 January of customers who have not received products against advance payments that are stuck with the payment gateway, e-commerce platform Qcoom and the payment gateway Foster Payments have sought more time to provide the same.
Media reports maintained this adding Qcoom and Foster Payments jointly submitted a list to the concerned ministry recently which, reportedly, included a portion of customers who owed Taka 59.05 crore in refunds even as talking to the media, Vice-President of e-CAB, Mohammad Shahabuddin, reportedly, maintained Qcoom submitted a consumer list mentioning those who did not claim “call-backs” on transactions, some of which were made through credit cards as well through different MFS services such as bKash and Nagad while adding many consumers who paid through credit cards and MFS have already claimed the refunds through their financial service providing institutions while underlining if they are mentioned on the list, then they will be paid twice.
“…things are being sorted out in that regard,” he claimed.
