Nylstar, a European textile company, has introduced Meryl® Skinlife Force hi-tech fabric using the silver-ion active principle from the Swiss laboratory HeiQ.
The fabric features a permanent viroblock technology that has proven to be 99.99 per cent effective against SARS-CoV-2, the COVID-19 causing virus, in 30 minutes.
The technology used also ensures longer durability of the garments which supports the company’s vision of moving forward with sustainable and full circular economy.
The Meryl® Skinlife Force hi-tech fabrics are suitable for the development of garments, masks and gowns. The fabric integrated with the technology can be reused 100 times after being washed at a temperature of 60ºC.
The microfibre technology further ensures that the garments feature soft touch and protects the skin from redness and allergic reactions.
The Meryl® Skinlife Force fabrics are also designed to avoid any microfibre pollution that brings the textile industry the necessary quality and touch without polluting air and water by spinning its high-quality continuous filament with extraordinary tenacity.
Meryl® Skinlife Force hi-tech fabric is also certified by STANDARD 100 Oekotex assuring that the product is free from any harmful substance.
