Itfas, the buying company for French ready-to-wear brand Kiabi group, has recently implemented Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to streamline its business operations.
So, what makes the company go for Centric PLM? Nothing more than the need for greater transparency, visibility and a harmonised information system to manage its global store operations spread over 500 stores in 17 countries.
Substantiating further, François Perche, Information System Manager, Kiabi, said “With Centric PLM in place, we hope to streamline our fragmented application landscape, update outdated systems to a more sustainable technology stack and realign our business processes with industry best practices.”
It is worth noting that Kiabi, a ready-to-wear clothing line, came into action in the year 1978, with the concept of affordable fashion for the whole family. The company slowly spreading its business around the globe now generates nearly €2 billion in turnover.
Perche added “We have been expanding our procurement operations in Asia. We are now closer to our supply chain partners and are willing to integrate more functions into this structure. As we continue to grow and hire people, we need adequate tools to collaborate efficiently and support them. Centric offers a lot of modules to fit our future needs, so we expect this partnership to be long term.”
Centric, headquartered in Silicon Valley, is one of the most innovative enterprise product development solution provider for retail, apparel, luxury goods, footwear and consumers goods companies.
Happy over partnering with Kiabi, Chris Groves, President and CEO, Centric Software, said “We would like to welcome Itfas and the Group Kiabi on-board. Kiabi is an innovative company which will use Centric for complex collaboration across many internal and external users, departments and locations. We’re delighted to partner with Kiabi for their digital transformation.”
