The 3rd edition of Garment Machine Manufacturers Suppliers Association (GMMSA) has concluded on a promising note in Ludhiana, Punjab (India). The exhibition witnessed a robust presence of the exhibitors who remained busy displaying their technology right from knitting machines (both flat and circular), sewing machines for knitted garments, hanger systems, spare parts and needles throughout four days.
“This edition was the best among all three editions of GMMSA which saw visitation from across India including a team from Arvind Mills. Nepal and most of the manufacturing hubs also marked their presence at the fair,” asserts Narinder Kumar, President, GMMSA.
The 4-day long tradeshow, which started on February 25, was good enough in terms of the number of visitors spotted discussing the displayed technology at the booths. Most of the exhibitors claimed to have a quality visitation as well as serious business enquiries which they said to take forward in order to close deals in the coming days. Technological stalwarts such as Magnum Resources, HCA, IIGM, Narinder International, KP Exim and Ramana International too declared the fair as a successful affair.
Apart from the renowned woollen and knitted garment manufacturers, GMMSA 2018 also witnessed many home furnishing manufacturers from North India who were offering home textile products made by knitted fabric. Madhur Gupta, Director, Madhur Knit Crafts and Cambridge Industries (Amritsar) were among the home furnishing manufacturers who visited the show.
On Day 4 of the show, students from many training institutes were also spotted.
Further, at the fair, Apparel Resources observed that some of the garment manufacturers are in the process to revamp their factories. Thus, in the coming months, they’ll start installing new machinery and will go for the best possible automated operations as per their needs.
Content with the efficacious show, the organising committee assured that next time GMMSA will be organised on a much larger scale with an international-kind of ambience.
