Mimaki, the world renowned company which offers digital printing solutions, has announced that it will launch new UV-curable inkjet printer models – UJF-3042MkII and UJF-6042MkII, successor models to UJF-3042FX/HG and UJF-6042, next month.
The new models deliver superior productivity, print quality, and adaptability to its users with approximately 120 per cent faster speed than that of the conventional models. The UJF-3042MkII and the UJF-6042MkII models can achieve a maximum print speed of 2.48 m2/h and 3.52 m2/h.

The printers can also accommodate high-performance inks such as LUS-120 ink, LUS-150, LH-100 ink and Mimaki’s PR-200 inkjet primer. Both the models employ Mimaki Clear Control (MCC), a clear varnish ink, which adds a glossy finish on desired areas and a premium appearance to the print. The newly launched printers can directly print on an object with up to 153 mm thick. The print table is precisely controlled to improve ink dot placement and moves during printing to reduce printer unit vibration.
Furthermore, Mimaki Expand Color enables the printers to give upgraded colour representation with more vibrant solid colour or brighter skin tones. Along with it, Mimaki Advanced Pass Ssytem4 (MAPS4) help in reducing banding and uneven colour printing with blurred boundaries.

The printers come with Nozzle Check Unit (NCU), which automatically detects clogged nozzles and performs cleaning, while the Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT) used in the white-ink tank and channels of the printers, circulates white ink at regular intervals to prevent pigment sedimentation.
