American apparel retailer Perry Ellis International Inc. has got into a license agreement with Al Matjar Al Watany Trading Establishment. Under the agreement, Perry Ellis will design and distribute Original Penguin casual sportswear in Saudi Arabian market. “We are thrilled about the partnership with Matjar Al Watany and look forward to working with their team to offer Original Penguin’s lifestyle product while continuing the expansion of our global reach,” averred George Feldenkreis, Chairman & CEO of Perry Ellis International.

Original Penguin is a wholly-owned subsidiary under Perry Ellis combines sportswear and contemporary fashion. Besides Original Penguin, Perry Ellis owns Rafaella, Cubavera, Ben Hogan, Grand Slam, Axist among others, as well as licensing trademarks from third parties such as Nike and Jag for swimwear, and Callaway, PGA Tour and Jack Nicklaus for golf apparel.
