Apparel retailer giant H&M opened its first store in India in the capital city New Delhi. Spread across more than 25,000 sq. ft., the store has been situated in one of the popular malls of the city, Select CITYWALK in Saket. The store will be open from 10 a.m. up to 10 p.m. every day and will offer women’s, men’s, and children apparel and accessories. The inauguration party witnessed celebrity guests like Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and artist Kanan Gill. The red ribbon was cut by Karl-Johan Persson, CEO, Janne Einola, Country Manager, and Kapil Vig. Store Manager. Another store is expected to open by the end of 2015 at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and by 2016, a store at VR mall, Bengaluru is also expected to open.
