Artificial intelligence (AI) is being used by the SMCP group-owned French brand Sandro to assist clients in selecting their optimal size. Sandro announced a partnership with Fringuant on Linkedin. Fringuant is a body scanning tool that assists users in determining their garment size.
With the use of an AI-powered application, online consumers may use details like height, weight, and a submitted facial photo to calculate their size.
Sandro made a promise to clients on the company website, saying that they would “discover their ideal size with a simple photo.” Because “a face says a lot about us,” users are encouraged to shoot a picture and enter their height and weight in less than two minutes. In a matter of seconds, the programme evaluates the user’s profile based on the supplied data and provides “the ideal size.”
