Püre, a manufacturer of disinfectant products, unveils PüreCouture – a solution for disinfecting the garments making them free for trial and reuse.
The product assures to kill almost 99.9 per cent of pathogens within a minute and has application in both retail and in-home.
The device allows disinfecting of different products and has many cycle options like quick sanitising that takes as less as 2 minutes to perform the process.
It has a capacity to hold up to 20 garments with the combination use of hangers and rack space. It uses UV-C light, vibration and gentle steam for sanitising the garment. The retailer need not remove the tag as they can be kept intact while disinfecting the garment in the machine.
“PüreCouture gives retailers a turn-key solution to ensure employees and customers safety while abiding by best practices for serving customers. We see this as a new product with immediate needs as well as a long-term alternative to dry cleaning and manual sterilisation of merchandise,” said Micaela Johnston, President, and CEO of Püre.
Apart from the use in the retail, it also can be used in-home as an alternative to the traditional dry cleaning.
The process keeps the garment safe and has no effect on the colour, brightness and care of different variety of fabrics including silk, cashmere and wool. The technology also gives an option to customise their wardrobe with their choice of fragrance.
