A standalone machine for applying Digital Print Primer (PFDP)! That‘s what Navis TubeTex, a leading US-based manufacturer of finishing machinery, is going to offer through ‘Luminoso’.
Yes, Luminoso is the new product from Navis TubeTex that is said to have an addition of print primer, which maximises colour distribution, enhances hues & colour gamut, sharpens design lines and provides vibrant colours on the product.
According to the company, Luminoso is a compact solution designed for those digital printers which do not have full-scale in-house finishing operations. “It is a flexible tool for quickly preparing pre-treated fabric,” states Navis TubeTex.
Process parameters such as speed, chemical add-on, etc. are all controlled with an easy-to-use icon-based, multilingual touch screen. Luminoso follows the other solutions offered by Navis TubeTex in terms of technology as it is also an Industry 4.0 compliant machine.
Luminoso’s small physical and thermal footprint makes it suitable for offices or laboratories while realising production widths – 1.8 m, 2.6 m and 3.0 m. Besides, the production speed of the machine ranges from 50 to 500 m/hr depending on process conditions.
Powered by the Consultex Spray System, Luminoso applies the exact amount of chemistry exactly where it is needed. Especially suited for digital printing pre-treatment, chemistry is applied on a single side and on the fabric surface. Unlike dip/squeeze technology, the amount of chemicals added is determined by the process not the substrate weight.
It’s worth mentioning here that Navis TubeTex will be showcasing all its latest technologies in upcoming leading textile technology exhibition ITMA, which is scheduled to be held from 20 to 26 June 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
