Its proximity to Ahmedabad and Mumbai helps us in fabric sourcing and saves time which is a key factor in delivery. As we see garment exports increasing from Surat, we are looking to increase our capacity. In next three years we have target to run 500 to 700 machines,” informs Vikas Guglani, Head Business Development of the company who has recently been recruited to support the growth. Vikas has worked with many big export houses of the industry before taking on this challenge.
The company producing ladies wear is doing garment export of almost of Rs. 7.5 crore and is expecting to touch a turnover of about Rs. 11 crore in the next one year. “The next generation is moving towards diversification and as it is getting exposure to fresh business ideas, I see ample opportunity and growth in apparel exports from Surat,” declares Vikas.
