
At a reception organized by the National Society of Industrial Parks (SONAPI), Sharda Amalean, Vice President of MAS Holdings, a Sri Lankan conglomerate and one of the world’s most recognized design-to-delivery solution providers in T&C sector, announced that it will set up manufacturing units at Caracol Industrial Park (PIC), Haiti. The US $ 300 million Caracol Industrial Park was established in the year 2012 on a 252-hectare site.
Philippe Debrosse, Director General of the SONAPI and Nonce Zéphyr, President of the Chamber of Commerce North have welcomed this investment announcement in Haiti. However, start date of the operations of Mas Holding will be announced after the completion of some usual formalities in Haiti.
