S K Rana, the Jaipur-based pattern expert and fashion designer, has been honoured with an honourary Doctorate in Fashion And Designing by International Internship University (IIU).
He was honoured in Delhi during an event where international expert from various countries also participated.
S K Rana, working in the apparel industry since the last 4 decades, has written many books on pattern and fashion designing. He has also given training to fresh talent in the fashion industry.
“I am extremely happy to achieve this honour as my efforts have been acknowledged. This has motivated me to contribute towards fashion industry. I am always open to support any stakeholder of the apparel industry with my expertise of pattern and fashion designing,” said SK Rana.
He further added that across India there are many domain experts like him those are working silently on ground level and need industry recognition so they can contribute more enthusiastically to the industry.
