
Masco Group, one of the leading knit composite conglomerates in Bangladesh, is organising a very unique exhibition for its merchandising team, which is said to be first-of-its kind in the country.
As per media reports, titled ‘Seasonal Product Fest 1.0’ with its theme ‘Know Masco, know your clients and know the products’, the event which started on 28 November and is ending on 3 December (Thursday), is reportedly an attempt to apprise the Group’s 140-member strong merchandising team about Masco Group’s capacity, clients and the range of products.
Speaking to the media, Masco Group’s Deputy Manager (Marketing and Merchandising) Sharafat Hussain reportedly underlined that the merchandisers often do not know what other clients are doing with the diversified range of products, and this event offers them a unique opportunity to get a holistic idea about the Group’s strengths, range of product diversification, what it is producing for various clients, etc.
A merchandiser typically handles average of ten styles with his nominated accounts even as we work with at least 300 styles every month, reportedly, maintained Sharafat.
Housed nine booths, in this event being held at company’s Gazipura office in Tongi, Masco Group is reportedly displaying thousands of styles for the upcoming seasons.
