Coimbatore-based India’s leading vertical integrated textile company KPR Mill Ltd. has reported 1.31 per cent higher total income in Q2 of FY ’23 while its net profit reduced by 16.7 per cent compared to Q2 of FY ’22.
On Y-o-Y basis, the company’s garment production was 65.37 million (in H1 of FY ’23) which is 13.29 per cent up from 57.70 million garments (in H1 of FY ’22).
The company is exporting a variety of products in knitwear and also has a domestic innerwear brand ‘FASO’.
Its total income as of Q2 of FY ’23 stands at Rs. 1240.51 crore against Rs. 1224.52 crore during the same period of last financial year.
The company, known for its quality products and CSR initiatives, has posted net profit of Rs. 203.29 crore for Q2 of FY ’23 compared to net profit of Rs. 226.69 crore for the period ended 30th June 2022.
During the first six months of the current financial year, the company has reported 31.48 per cent higher revenue as its total income has been Rs.2845.48 crore as compared to Rs.2164.16 crore during the 6 months of last fiscal.
Similarly it has posted net profit of Rs.429.98 crore for the six-months period ended 30th September 2022 as against net profit of Rs. 410.29 crore for the six-months period ended 30th September 2021 which is 4.80 per cent higher.
