Trading across Hili Land Port (HLP) — HLP is situated at Hakimpur Upazila in Dinajpur district, on the Bangladesh-India border — resumed after a gap of six days recently following Eid-ul-Fitr festivity holidays and May Day.
Media reports maintained this citing Harun Ur Rashid Harun, the President of the HLP Importers’-Exporters’ Group.
“After six days holiday, imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the imported goods resumed today through the land port,” reportedly, underlined Harun while adding Indian cargo trucks started arriving at the port.
It may be mentioned here import-export activities remained suspended through the land port from 1 to 6 May on the occasions of May Day and Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
