The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has reached out to business organisations, urging them to contribute budget proposals for the fiscal year 2024-25 to ensure a participatory, balanced, and people-centric budgeting process.
As per reports, all chambers and associations across the country have been requested to submit their budget proposals in written format to the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) by 8th February.
According to the NBR, chambers and associations are instructed to deliver their respective budget proposals in writing to FBCCI by the specified deadline, facilitating their involvement in the budget formulation process.
Additionally, organisations are asked to send a soft copy of their proposals via email to Chief Budget Coordinator and First Secretary SM Sohail Rahman at nbrbudget2024@gmail.com.
The NBR emphasised its commitment to seriously consider all received proposals.
Moreover, institutions or departments not affiliated with any chamber or association are requested to directly submit their budget proposals via email to the provided address.
