Faruque Hassan, President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), has called for the collective support and cooperation of all stakeholders to navigate the challenges confronting the readymade garment industry.
Acknowledging the industry’s trying period, he emphasized the need for concerted efforts and shared responsibility from each participant to overcome the challenges posed by the current global economic landscape.
During discussions with RMG industry stakeholders at the BGMEA office in the port city of Chittagong recently, Faruque Hassan highlighted the profound impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the global economy and emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts for the sustainable development of the RMG industry, crucial for Bangladesh’s socioeconomic progress.
