
The Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) of Bangladesh recently inked a deal with the IFC or International Finance Corporation pertaining to Patenga Container Terminal.
According to reports, the ‘Equip, Operate and Maintenance of Patenga Container Terminal’ deal with IFC was signed at the PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) in the presence of Shipping Secretary Md Mostafa Kamal and Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary and Chairman of the PPPA Ahmad Kaikaus.
The Chief Executive Officer of PPPA Muhammad Ibrahim and Acting Country Manager of IFC Nuzhat Anwar signed the agreement on behalf of their respective entities.
