Mohammad Al Kashem, the inaugural Bangladeshi Managing Director (MD) of Coats Thread Exports Limited in Sri Lanka, has been appointed to this pivotal role, concurrently serving as Managing Director of Coats Bangladesh Limited and J&P Coats Pakistan Limited.
Based in Dhaka, Kashem assumes this responsibility while maintaining his existing leadership positions, as per reports.
Joining Coats in 2016, Kashem’s journey includes significant roles such as General Manager at Coats Pakistan and Manufacturing Director at Coats Bangladesh.
He also holds membership in Coats Group’s Apparel Division Leadership Team.

With over two decades of diverse leadership experience spanning general management, manufacturing, and human resources functions across multinational corporations and local industrial conglomerates, Kashem is a graduate in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and holds an executive MBA from North South University.
