
Algeria is interested to increase trade with Bangladesh even as the country’s Ambassador to Dhaka underlined the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is keen to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries or FBCCI to facilitate the same.
Algerian Ambassador to Dhaka Rabah Larbi, reportedly, underlined the same during his recent meeting with FBCCI President Md. Jashim Uddin.
…trade associations of more than 50 countries of the world have signed about 150 MoUs with FBCCI, reportedly, maintained the FBCCI President responding positively to the proposal by the Ambassador of Algeria, who also, reportedly, promised to soon send a draft agreement to the Algerian embassy in Dhaka, in this regard soon.
It may be mentioned here Algeria primarily imports woven and knitwear apart from jute and jute products, home textiles, and footwear from Bangladesh.
