Trident Group, one of India’s leading integrated home textile manufacturers, is strengthening its presence in Europe by showcasing its latest product collections at Heimtextil 2026, underscoring its strategy to expand across the region amid improving trade prospects.
The company’s participation at the international trade fair reflects its focus on the European market at a time when proposed free trade agreements between India, the United Kingdom and the European Union are expected to enhance market access and competitiveness for Indian textile exporters.
Abhishek Gupta, Chief Executive Officer for Strategy and Marketing at Trident Group, said Europe remained a strategic market for the company’s home textiles business. He said Trident was investing in local leadership and presenting collections aligned with European preferences, particularly in sustainability, quality and design. He also noted that the global home textiles market was valued at an estimated US $ 136–140 billion and was expected to register steady growth in the coming years. Against this backdrop, he said the company was positioning itself to deepen partnerships with European retailers and expand its business in a responsible and sustainable manner.
As part of its European growth strategy, Trident has strengthened its on-the-ground presence through the appointment of dedicated directors for Germany and France. The company said the move would enable closer engagement with customers, quicker response times and stronger relationships across key European markets.
Industry observers note that increased participation by Indian manufacturers at major European trade fairs highlights growing confidence in the region, particularly as trade negotiations progress and retailers seek diversified, sustainable sourcing partners.
