In April ’25-February ’26, Indian textile exports registered a degrowth of -2.1% over the previous year while Apparel exports registered a growth of 0.51% during the same time. Cumulative exports of textiles and apparel during April ’25-February ’26 have registered a degrowth of -1% as compared to April ’24-February ’25, according to a CITI analysis of quick estimates of the textile and apparel exports for February 2026.
For April ’25-February ’26, textile exports reached US $ 18,355.43 million as compared to US $ 18,761.87 million in April ’24-February ’25 while apparel exports reached US $ 14,531.65 million in April ’25-February ’26 as compared to US $ 14,458.02 million in April ’24-February ’25. Cumulative textile and apparel exports in April ’25-February ’26 reached US $ 32,887.08 million as compared to US $ 33,219.89 million in April ’24-February ’25.
During February ’26, Indian Textiles exports registered a degrowth of -0.31% over the previous year while Apparel exports registered a degrowth of -8.60% during the same time period. Cumulative Exports of Textiles and Apparel during February ’26 have registered a degrowth of -4.26% over February ’25
Textile exports in February 2026 reached US $ 1,677.39 million from an amount of US $ 1,682.63 million in February 2025, while apparel exports reached US $ 1,402.95 million in February 2026, compared to US $ 1,402.95 million in February 2025. Cumulative textile and apparel exports reached US $ 3,080.34 million in February 2026 as compared to US $ 3,217.53 million in February 2025.
