
Zaber & Zubair has presented a display of 40 new innovations, including sustainability-focused offerings, alongside 180 fresh products, all showcased to an international audience of buyers. At the forefront of their Fabric Week 2023, the company aims to bolster exports, strategically countering a recent shortage of orders experienced in the past months.
During the opening day of Zaber and Zubair Fabric Week 2023, the company unveiled an impressive array of 40 new innovations, encompassing sustainable offerings, alongside 180 fresh products designed for the upcoming autumn and winter season of 2024-25.
The exclusive showcase took place at the Gulshan marketing office, attracting the attention of both international buyers and local apparel manufacturers.
Zaber & Zubair Fabrics introduces diverse sustainable fibres such as recycled yarn, pineapple, banana, ecovero, livaeco, hemp, bamboo, jute, and more. They’ve also upgraded with an improved version of Sorona, ensuring enhanced comfort, and introduced Lycra anti x slip for premium synthetic fibre in woven and denim products, positioning themselves as leaders in eco-friendly textiles.
In an interview with The Business Standard, Mohammad Abdullah Zaber, the Managing Director of Noman Group, emphasised their strong commitment to sustainable fabrics, revealing that they are presently producing fabrics with an impressive 75 per cent sustainable properties.
Zaber elaborated that by incorporating 20 per cent to 30 per cent recycled cotton in their fabrics, buyers would pay an extra 15 cents to 25 cents.
He added that the company has made significant investments in research and development to create more sustainable products.
