Recover™, a global leader in recycled cotton fibre production, has announced the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Dong Nai province, Vietnam. Set to become operational by early 2025, the factory highlights Recover’s commitment to scaling sustainable solutions for the textile industry through cutting-edge recycling technology.
Spanning 14,000m², the facility will house two advanced recycling lines with an annual production capacity of 10,000 MT. It will also feature a dedicated laboratory to ensure product quality and drive innovation. One of the key offerings from this site will be RMix, Recover’s recycling solution for cotton-polyester blends, which eliminates the need to separate fibres—addressing a significant challenge in polycotton recycling.
The location in Vietnam, the world’s third-largest textile exporter, strategically positions Recover™ close to waste sorting and manufacturing operations, reducing costs and environmental impact. This step aligns with the company’s mission to provide efficient access to recycled materials for global brands.
CEO Anders Sjöblom emphasised the importance of this expansion, noting, “By bringing our advanced technology to a key textile hub, we are driving a positive shift toward circularity in Vietnam.”
