
On the eve of fourth anniversary of Rana Plaza tragedy, National Alliance For Protection of Garments Workers & Industries formed a human chain in front of Press Club at Dhaka, Bangladesh on April 23. The organization demands punishment of all culprits including Sohel Rana, the building owner who is responsible for the disastrous collapse of Rana Plaza.

Presided over Abul Hossain, Convener of Garments Workers & Save Industry National Stage, distinguished leaders of different labour unions were present there. The speakers demanded exemplary punishment of the culprits and also want the official declaration of 24 April as the ‘National Mourning Day’.
They also drew the attention of manufacturers and the Government to take necessary measures to provide workers’ protection in the garment industry.
