Kingpins, renowned for its shows in New York and Amsterdam, will retain its independent operations, preserving its unique identity that has made it a sought-after event for denim enthusiasts worldwide. The strategic partnership with Messe Frankfurt allows Kingpins to continue flourishing while the size of the stake and its financial details remain undisclosed.
Andrew Olah, Kingpins’ founder and CEO, revealed a longstanding aspiration to collaborate with Messe Frankfurt, citing their shared vision and Messe Frankfurt’s vast expertise and experience as an 800-year-old exhibition company.
With a portfolio comprising approximately 50 international trade fairs across 11 countries, Messe Frankfurt’s investment in Kingpins not only enhances its offerings but also reaffirms its dedication to advancing the denim industry. Messe Frankfurt already possesses denim shows like Beyond Denim and Denimworld in its collection.
