The EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform has been formally established by the European Commission. This is a brand-new online platform created to help participants in the textile industry become more resilient, competitive, digital, and sustainable.
Participants in the event had a guided tour of this new platform, giving them an early look at how users may start conversations, write articles, interact with the content, find the best possibilities, find funding details, and build strong networks. How the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform may effectively assist its members and ecosystem stakeholders was the topic of debate.
The platform, which was presented at the launch event with input from all sectors of the ecosystem, provides quick access to important information, a forum for networking and peer learning, interactive workshops and webinars, and a place to interact and have conversations with other industry stakeholders.
As part of the EU Transition Pathways Platform initiative, the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform was developed. It was built when the Textiles Ecosystem Transition Pathway was published.
The Transition Pathway for the Textiles Ecosystem, a dynamic plan to make the textiles ecosystem more resilient, digital, green, and competitive, was released by the European Commission in June 2023.
