An important milestone in the company’s continuous efforts to promote eco-friendly fashion was achieved when Greensole, a well-known brand in sustainable footwear, opened its flagship store in Mumbai’s Kurla. Through a carefully chosen selection of vegan and recycled footwear, the new store, which is situated in one of Mumbai’s most popular shopping malls, highlights Greensole’s commitment to sustainability.
With the support of Rushabh Vora and Ram Fashion Exports, Greensole’s co-founders, Ramesh Dhami and Shriyans Bhandari, have continuously pushed for the fusion of fashion with responsibility. “The launch of our flagship store demonstrates our conviction that eco-friendly fashion can be stylish and affordable,” Bhandari said.
Influential people like former US President Barack Obama have praised Greensole for its creative use of recycled materials, which has brought it attention on a global scale.
According to industry watchers, the fashion industry contributes significantly to environmental deterioration worldwide, generating over 92 million metric tonnes of garbage each year and mainly depending on animal leather, which has sparked worries about water contamination and animal suffering.
