In its continual commitment to employee health and community caring, Crystal International Group Limited has donated more than 2 million face covers to its employees and their families.
That’s not all! It’s been at the forefront helping the Hong Kong Government make face masks.
And now the Hong Kong-based firm has come up with a new self-developed highly performed, sustainable Crystal face cover exclusively for all its 80,000 employees worldwide.
To raise the awareness of employee care, Crystal International is launching ‘We care. We mask up together’ campaign.
The innovation team at Crystal – after comprehensive research and design process over the last 5 months – has devoted substantial manpower and resources to source advanced fabrics and filter materials from different countries and undergo a series of laboratories’ tests and wearer trials while developing the face masks.
Besides, its 3D ergonomic design with cotton poplin brings high breathability with engineered breathing room and skin comfort.
Notably, the highly performed face cover achieves the same standard as that of medical mask, ASTM F2100 Level 2.
Also, one needs to mention here that all tests were conducted by Nelson Labs in the US and professional laboratories in Europe and Singapore, meeting both Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) and Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) 98 per cent.
Additionally, the face cover is infused with ionised copper for the natural anti-bacterial property – reducing the bacteria by more than 99 per cent. It is also water repellent.
These masks are sustainable too!
While its functional properties can be maintained up to 60 times hand washes, these face covers can replace 60 disposable surgical masks. Importantly, employees wearing these masks can save about 14 tonnes of waste every 60 days.
What’s encouraging is that the response from the employees so far has been overwhelming and through the ‘We care. We mask up together’ campaign, Crystal Group is now set to reach as many people as possible.
