The next-generation AIRO 24 system from Biancalani Textile Machinery has been installed at Birla Cellulose’s Textile Research Application & Development Centre (TRADC) in Kosamba, Gujarat. This installation is a major step in TRADC’s continuous dedication to developing innovative fabric processing solutions via industry partnerships.
With a focus on Viscose, Modal, and Excel (Lyocell) fibres that are extensively utilised in the textile sector, Birla Cellulose is a pioneer in the manufacturing of sustainable fibre. As a specialised research centre, TRADC works to improve textile performance and sustainability while also developing textile technologies. When combined with the current AQUARIA system, the introduction of AIRO24 enhances TRADC’s capacity to create better fabric finishes with enhanced durability, softness, and drape.
Birla Cellulose’s mission to promote innovation via ethical and sustainable methods is in line with the collaboration with Biancalani Textile Machinery, a leader in textile finishing technologies. The combination between Birla Cellulose’s sustainable fibres and Biancalani’s sophisticated finishing methods will open up new options for the manufacturing of high-quality, environmentally friendly textiles by fusing fabric and process innovation.
Birla Cellulose’s leadership in sustainable fashion and fibre technology will be strengthened by TRADC’s improved research infrastructure, which will enable it to expedite fabric processing innovations and provide creative solutions to the global textile industry.
