Under Armour, a manufacturer of athletic performance wear, introduced the Vanish Pro Training Tee, their first product to use Neolast, an alternative to elastane.
Neolast, a high-performing fabric that Under Armour claims promises durability, stretch, and breathability while solving environmental issues with standard elastane, makes its premiere with the Vanish Pro Tee.
The brand’s Neolast fibre innovation is set to launch exclusively on the Under Armour website and is intended to help the company achieve its objective of removing 75 per cent of spandex from its products by 2030.
“We took a minimalist approach to the design, eliminating distractions and allowing the Neolast material to truly shine,” said John Hardy III, senior director of product at Under Armour. “We’re proud to have developed the first apparel with this innovation and are excited about bringing more performance garments that utilise the future of stretch to athletes everywhere.”
The Vanish Pro Neolast tees pay homage to its roots by inverting the brand’s original 1996 compression tee colour scheme, featuring a black base with a white logo.
