Made by Suzhou Rongtai Home Textile Co. Ltd., of China and sold exclusively on Amazon.com, more than 10,000 sleepwear garments are being recalled as they fail to meet federal flammability standards.
The sleepwear was sold online from November 2021 through May 2022 in sizes 4T in a variety of characters.
These products have failed to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This poses a risk of burn injuries to children. So far, no injuries have been reported.
US’ The Consumer Product Safety Commission (cpsc) has issued detail in this regard and said that the recall involves Mianzhu Ye Xin Trading NewCosplay branded children’s button-up long-sleeved, one-piece sleepwear garments. The side seam label has fibre content and washing instructions and a sewn-in label has the garment’s size and ‘NEWCOSPLAY’.
It is worth mentioning here that this is the second such recall in last one month as just few days back, P.J.Salvage too recalled children’s pajamas which failed to meet flammability standards.
