Since taking over as CEO of Inditex last spring, Marta Ortega’s choices consistently seem to have been influenced by Zara’s approach to forging exclusive partnerships in order to strengthen its marketing strategy.
Redesigning Human Uniform, or ‘RHU, their first joint venture, was introduced in May last year with the intention of providing a wide range of affordable athletics for men. Following the breakthrough of their initial partnership, the streetwear brand Rhude’s creator and Inditex’s flagship outlet are working together once more to develop a new collection.
This time, ‘RHU’ will be displayed for the very first time at a pop-up store at 146 Greene Street during New York Fashion Week. From 11th-18th February, the unique items will be offered at the transient location.
Beginning on 20th February, the range will also be offered on the Zara website and in a few physical stores. After that, buyers will be able to purchase the 20-piece ready-to-wear ‘Cross Country’ collection.
The styles, which come in the shapes of working outfits, denim outfits, motorcycle jackets, oversized pants, vibrant shirts, polo shirts and relaxed T-shirts, were influenced by traditional varsity jackets or the Ivy League appearance.
