
In its efforts to expand its offerings, Singapore-based e-tailer Zalora has launched kidswear category on its website and app.
The kidswear section will see the best of collections from world-renowned brands like Disney, Mango Baby, Mango Kids and others in addition to best from sports giants like Adidas and Nike.
There will be over 5,000 products for kids aged up to 12 years on both app and the website.
Talking to media, Zalora spokesperson said that Southeast Asia market is a big market for kidswear with a population of 625 million – not to mention 4 million births every year.
Zalora believes that venturing into kidswear will be a boon for parents as they can shop on their own terms and within their own budgets.
The spokesperson said that considering the age group of its target customers, majority of shopping will be done by mothers.
