
Yoox, an online fashion retail entity of the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, has launched a new virtual customer experience with ‘Ciao Italia!’
The virtual travel and shopping experience will offer a highly curated selection of products from Italy that shoppers and customers might generally find on their vacation to the picturesque cities of the nation.
The platform gives an enhanced ‘virtual getaway’ for shoppers to walk through the winding streets and tiny niches to discover the artisanal brands and little-known Italian designers dotted all over the country.
Customers in over 100 countries will be able to access these designers while Ciao Italia! epitomises the Italian holiday experience.
The platform takes the customer on a journey through four themes- ‘Dolce Far Niente’ or the pleasure of relaxing with items like beachwear; ‘BuonAppetito’ translates to enjoying a good meal and offers home goods and tableware; ‘Al Mercato’ relates to artisan markets through ready-to-wear, light clothing and accessories; and, ‘Ferragosto’ pays homage to the awaited summer festival through bold accessories and dresses.
In other news, Yoox Net-a-Porter recently announced the appointment of Sheena Sauvaire as the Chief Marketing Officer after an 18 month stint at the British luxury outerwear brand Belstaff.
