Kanelle, an Indian womenswear brand, is preparing to launch a new sustainable clothing line called ‘Scrap to Rack,’ which will feature recycled fabric scraps in an effort to reduce waste and promote sustainability.
The womenswear collection will combine the brand’s laid-back, feminine aesthetic with an eclectic mix of fabric offcuts repurposed into one-of-a-kind garment.
Kanelle’s teaser images show separates with abstract patterns, ruffled blouses and mix-and-match pieces, amongst other things.
The line will be sold through the brand’s dedicated e-commerce store, which also sells clothing, accessories and its perfume line.
“We are firm believers in the fact that art can help bring a huge change and a positive spirit to the world. Hence, we are bringing something unique to the table, something that is here to stay, something that will not hamper the environment,” the brand stated on its social media account.
