Hush, the well-known London-based women’s apparel brand, has said that it has posted record revenues and profits for the year.
The lifestyle brand saw its operating profit surge by a massive 169 per cent to clock £11.4 million for the year that ended 27 March 2021.
Hush has attributed the impressive profit to the perfect blend of top line growth with exceptionally lower marketing and retail costs.
Stating about revenues, the brand’s revenue rose by 23 per cent to £58 million – again a notable feat considering several non-essential stores were closed during the period.
The online sales, notably, represented 95 per cent of the total in the year, while it had constituted 81 per cent of the total a year ago.
The brand also added that it has achieved further growth in the first six months of its new financial year, with revenue going up by 20 per cent.
Founded in the UK in 2003 and with its headquarters currently based in Battersea, London, Hush employs more than 100 people and generates over £40 million in sales.
