Versace, the Italian fast fashion brand, opened its new store in Beijing’s China World Mall. This is part of brand’s renewed effort to enhance its presence globally.
The new store, which is Versace’s 53rd store in China, is spread over a vast area of 4,300 square feet and is already been talked about for its exquisite marble-based design supervised by Gwenael Nicolas, the French but Tokyo-based architect.
The store showcases the best of ready-to-wear and accessories for both men and women much to the delight of its shoppers.
In a statement released by Versace, the brand said that the LEED-certified showroom was created keeping highest sustainability standards in mind.
Indeed, efforts to promote sustainability could be seen everywhere in the store. The dimmable lights with central control ensures efficient use of energy over the course of the day.
More on the new store, Donatella Versace, Designer, said “No luxury is bigger than our future and the new Versace China concept is a commitment toward Versace’s sustainable legacy.”
It is worth noting that Capri Holdings, which acquired Versace in late 2018, now plans to double the latter’s sales by opening nearly 112 more stores by the year 2022. This is in addition to brand’s plan to revamp its existing outlets.
