Nordstrom, in its maiden home-focused partnership within its pop-up series, has just seen US e-commerce firm Parachute join its PopIn@Nordstrom concept.
The e-commerce company will, reportedly, bring products such as loungewear, bedding, pillows and towels, amongst others, on Nordstrom’s website as well as nine of its stores.
The PopIn@Nordstrom concept will help Parachute further expand its physical presence.
Parachute operates under only 20 standalone stores, but this alliance with Nordstrom will help it enter new markets – in relatively low-risk manner – and attract a different set of customers.
The pop-up will be featured in two Canadian stores as well – a market where Parachute is yet to have any store.
The partnership is also integral to Nordstrom as it allows the company to go beyond apparels and footwear and establish in home goods – not easy though considering the market of home goods hasn’t been good lately.
Parachute was founded in 2014 and is a US-based e-commerce company that sells bedding, home decor and furniture.
