Poetrique, a premium lifestyle–athleisure wear brand for women, has announced its entry into the Indian market. The brand is part of Aspire Athletic Wear LLC (USA), a company founded in January 2024 by entrepreneur Priti Patel.
The launch marks the company’s first expansion into India, with the brand aiming to offer lifestyle–athleisure garments tailored to the needs of modern women.
According to the company, Poetrique focuses on clean, contemporary silhouettes and tailoring designed to suit Indian body types. The garments are intended to balance comfort, functionality and aesthetic appeal, offering clothing that is easy to wear and maintain while retaining a polished appearance.
A key aspect of the brand’s offering is its emphasis on premium fabrics and durability. Poetrique said it works with carefully selected breathable and resilient materials suited to Indian weather conditions and daily movement. The fabrics incorporate functional features such as stretch, anti-wrinkle properties, anti-odour technology, easy-care maintenance and long-lasting colour retention to ensure consistent performance with repeated use.
Elizabeth Victor, chief executive officer of Poetrique, said the brand was conceived as a blend of creativity and individuality in apparel design. She stated that the brand’s concept reflects clothing that moves fluidly with a woman’s lifestyle and personal expression.
Victor noted that contemporary women often transition between multiple roles and activities during the day, and the company aimed to design garments that could adapt seamlessly to those shifts. She added that the brand focuses on producing high-quality products using premium fabrics sourced from certified suppliers and manufactured in facilities that also serve leading global brands.
She further stated that the fabrics undergo rigorous testing comparable to standards followed by established premium athleisure brands. According to her, the company’s approach is guided by two key principles: respect for customers’ time and respect for their expectations of quality and durability.
With its launch in India, Poetrique aims to introduce a curated approach to lifestyle–athleisure wear in the market. The brand’s collections will initially be available through its official online platform.
