In these tough times, it’s good to hear about record sales! And that’s what we are hearing from Louis Vuitton.
The French fashion label is all set to create a sales history in China as its flagship store in Shanghai, which is the largest in the country, is expected to clock an astounding US $ 22 million in August.
Normally, sales in the store range from US $ 11 million to US $ 13 million and therefore the number that the fashion label is expected to clock becomes more significant and appreciable.
So what’s taking Louis Vuitton to these record-breaking numbers!
The grand success of fashion label’s Spring 2021 men’s fashion show certainly boosted the sales.
After the show recorded over 100 million views on several global platforms, people rushed to the Shanghai store to buy the new season looks, which helped the sales numbers jump.
Add to this, the Qixi festival and Chinese Valentine’s Day too increased the sales of the brand in August. All through the month there were long queues outside the store.
With the fashion label posting a strong recovery in revenue in China in the otherwise disappointing second quarter, this fabulous performance is another step forward in the retailer’s plans to enhance its presence in the region.
Louis Vuitton has its presence in 50 countries with over 460 stores and is known for range of products from apparels and shoes to accessories and watches. It generates revenue of US $ 15 billion.
