The US-based menswear apparel retailer UNTUCKit is all set to launch its first global brick-and-mortar store in Toronto, Canada next week. The upcoming store will house all of the retailer’s menswear products that include shirts, sweaters, bottom-wear, and outerwear, among other items.
Notably, the company has also announced that it will launch its exclusive e-commerce marketplace specifically curated for Canada along with a product fulfilment centre in the country on the same day; 12th September 2018.
Chris Riccobono, Founder, UNTUCKit elucidated on the development that the retailer always wanted itself to have its presence in Canada. “Having a space in Canada has always been a goal of ours, to cater to the Canadian customers’ needs who have been shopping with us for years online,” Chris added.
Additionally, to boost its foray into the Canadian market, the retailer has collaborated with Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, who will not only be available for the advertising campaigns and store launches but has also invested in the company, as reported by a leading media house.
Speaking on having the sports legend on board, Chris cited that his significant success over the years as an entrepreneur is what propelled us to have him as an investor, and his passion for both the country and the UNTUCKit brand made him an automatic choice for the brand ambassador’s role.
Markedly, since its launch back in 2011, the apparel brand has taken its tally of outlets from five at the end of 2016 to 39 physical retail locations across the U.S. It is eyeing to launch 15 more U.S.-based stores by the end of current year. It is reported that the brand has made a significant profit since its second year in the market.
