
Under Armour, the American sports clothing and accessories company, has announced appointment of Clay Dean as Chief Innovation Officer. In his new role, Clay will be responsible for driving Under Armour’s global vision and strategy for Innovation, and cross-functional collaboration with its internal Design, Marketing, Product, and Category Management teams.
Dean, who has become part of Under Armour after spending 20 years at General Motors, will be posted at company’s headquarter in Baltimore. He will report to Kevin Haley, President, Category Management and Innovation.

Under Armour has recently made its debut in India through e-commerce giant Amazon Fashion with a vision of empowering athletes everywhere. Also, in collaboration with Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady, Under Armour has debuted the company’s first-ever “athlete recovery sleepwear” that will “promote better sleep”. Designed to make all athletes better, the brand’s innovative products are sold worldwide to athletes at all levels.
